Pediatrics Hospital Based job located in Georgia

Pediatrics - This South Georgia medical center is seeking two board certified|board eligible Pediatricians to join the hospital staff. One physician will serve in a traditional office-based outpatient practice. The second physician will serve as a Pediatric Hospitalist with Family Medicine Residency program teaching duties included. The employed physicians will receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, contractual benefits (including participation in health, disability, and malpractice insurance programs) relocation expenses and educational loan assistance, as well as, office setup and support from the medical center administrative management team.
Both positions are described below.

Outpatient Pediatrician
• Experienced candidates preferred, but new grads will be considered.
• Guaranteed salary is competitive at median of MGMA (Southern States) - $250K
• Plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits
• Clinic schedule: M-F, 8 AM 5 PM; no call
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Facility details: The Primary Care and Pediatrics Clinic is located within short walking distance of the hospital campus; hospital physicians lounge with meals provided; and a 24-hour employee-exclusive gym

Pediatric Hospitalist (Pediatrics- or Family Medicine-trained, with teaching duties)
• Guaranteed salary is competitive within range of median and mean of MGMA (Southern States) - $220-$240K, depending upon experience
• Predictable schedule: 24 hours, 7 days on|7 days off (26 weeks per year); In-house days with home call at night
• New state-of-the-art, 6-bed Pediatric Unit
• Nursery Coverage
• 100% teaching service (inpatient rounding with Family Medicine residents and medical students)
• Occasional lecturing of Family Medicine residents and medical students
• Potential for precepting with pediatric patients in Family Medicine Residency Clinic
• Requirements: 3 years post-GME experience preferred; must be BE|BC; willing to consider candidates with private practice and|or inpatient experience
