Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) OR Pain Management Physician Hartford, CT
We are looking for a motivated Physician to join our well-established medical group full time in the Glastonbury area, CT near Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate is residency trained in PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) with an interventional pain fellowship, has strong exposure to fluoroscopic guided spine procedures, and is interested in outpatient non-surgical orthopedics, sports medicine, and regen medicine. We are looking for someone with advanced interventional skills, who can contribute to our patient load, performing regen med, interventional pain, and non-surgical orthopedics at a very high level.

The candidate will be seeing patients under the auspices of both practices. Primary Job responsibilities:
- Pain Management patient care
- Evaluate and treat patients, including performing all requisite medical histories and physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests/studies
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic injections including, but not limited to corticosteroid injections, nerve blocks and hydro dissection procedures, trigger point injections, Ten Jet® procedures (percutaneous tenotomy)
- Perform phlebotomy when required (when clinical cannot draw blood for PRP procedures)
- Perform fluoroscopic spine procedures (e.g., transforaminal and interlaminar ESI's, selective nerve root blocks, medial branch blocks, caudal epidurals, and ganglion impar blocks)
- Perform Regenerative Medicine procedures
- Assist the ancillary clinical support staff as needed
- Precept Family Practice residents and medical students who rotate through the office
- Supervise mid-level providers (such as PA’s)
- Any other duties as assigned or requested by the Medical Director
- Collaboration with the physicians, physician assistants, medical professionals, and administrative staff for comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with a medical license to practice in CT
- Residency trained in PMR (or possibly Family Practice Residency) with strong exposure to fluoroscopic guided spine procedures
- A candidate currently enrolled in an Interventional Pain Management fellowship (or potentially Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship)
- Must have an interest in an outpatient non-surgical orthopedics / sports medicine / regenerative medicine practice
Schedule:
- M-F 9-5
- No nights, weekends, or hospital work
Compensation:
- $300,000 + benefits
