NP/PA Opportunities Available in the Daytona Beach, FL area!!

ARNPs or PAs Needed for client in the Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach, Florida Metropolitan area

2 PAs or ARNPs needed one by December and another later next year for Extended hour care clinic. One option is full time in one location. The second option is a "float" position. Full time, but move between sites.

Candidate should have either ED or Urgent Care experience.  Occupational health experience is a plus – DOT certification, MRO, etc.

If they do not have the DOT certification they must be willing to get it.

For Float job,  must be willing to travel and be flexible.

Client will want work history and skill set info on:

1.     Laceration repair

2.     Fracture diagnosis and splinting

3.     Prescribing history, especially for antibiotics and narcotics

4.     Spirometry interpretation

5.     Abscess I & D

6.     Foreign body removal from the eye, ear, nose or soft tissue

7.     Radiology interpretation

The schedule  is usually finalized 30-60 days in advance, with occasional changes due to illness, etc.  Most providers use a 3 twelve hour shifts per week (7a-7:30p with ½ hr. for lunch) and every 3rd Saturday morning (4 hours)………..and are contracted for 72-80 hr. per pay period. A few of clients providers prefer to work less or more.  This is based on personal preference and financial desires.

In the future, 8 hour weekend shifts may occur.  Under consideration are some 8 or 10 hour overlap shifts in busier locations, also, in the future.

Expected Income range about 110K plus a full benefits package.
