Hospital Seeks Radiation Oncologist to Join Multi-Specialty Group in PA!

Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join hospital-affiliated group.
Group is an independent multi-specialty group located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, that includes surgeons (general, breast, vascular, and colon and rectal), urologists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, and radiation oncologists. In addition, we have a Breast Care Center, Imaging Services, Pathology and the Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care. Group provides multidisciplinary oncology care in a community setting.
As partners in Group, the Radiation Oncologists play a vital role in the Practice’s Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care. We are looking for individuals who can lead our Center and direct regional oncology care in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
The potential for this Center is limitless. We are very committed to growing our Center in all aspects of care by employing the most up to date technology, expanding our patient navigation program, developing complementary services and participation in research protocols.
Hospital is Northeastern Pennsylvania’s largest community hospital, with 412-beds and a medical staff of more than 400 physicians representing nearly 50 medical and surgical specialties. It has long been recognized for excellence in heart and vascular care, and an emergency department that treats nearly 70,000 patients a year.

The area is in the top 50 TV markets within the US.  While maintaining the small community feel that makes it a great place to raise a family, there are over 1m people in a 50-mile radius of city. The area is only a short drive, two hours, from New York City and Philadelphia and just slightly further to the NJ and Delaware shores.
