Radiology Single Specialty Group job located in Massachusetts

4 day work week in the greater Boston area 

This suburban Boston,  self-governing and democratically structured 10-member private practice is seeking recruiting due to growth in the practice.  The group provides services to a 189 bed community hospital and Level 3 Trauma Center and an affiliated outpatient MRI office and has a longstanding and stable relationship with the hospital administration and medical staff since 1954.  .  Ideal candidates are either Neuro, MSK or IR but will consider all others.  Can expect to spend 50% in your subspecialty and balance in general.  Mammo is optional. The position includes most aspects of diagnostic radiology including fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, and nuclear medicine.  Familiarity with minor interventional procedures (i.e., thoracentesis, paracentesis, thyroid and breast biopsy, arthrogram) or willingness to learn them is preferred.  Volume is 90-100 studies per day across all modalities.  Diagnostic call (work a late shift 10am -8pm) two to three week nights per month and 1 weekend per month (two rads – 1 from 8am – 1pm the other from 1pm – 8pm).  Typical work week of 4 days.  Overnight coverage is provided by a teleradiology service beginning at 8 pm.  Receive a competitive salary, 9 weeks PTO, 10 additional days off between Christmas and New Years, and a full range of benefits (100k package) includes 401(k) retirement plan, Health Savings Account, medical, dental, and occurrence-based malpractice insurance contribute to a favorable work/life balance.   Partnership after 1 year for experienced, 2 years for new grad.  The area is home to internationally renowned local schools and universities, and outstanding recreational and cultural opportunities in the Greater Boston area and Cape Cod.
