Surgery-Colon Rectal Hospital Based job located in New Hampshire
We have an immediate need for a general surgeon to be part of a four general surgeon coverage program within the community of Parkland Medical Center. Our ideal candidate will practice a full spectrum of general surgery w/robotic training and able to take Level III Trauma call. Physicians with colon rectal and bariatrics experience will be an added plus!
The incoming physician and practice benefit from local referrals from the largest independent primary care practices in the region as well as independent practices throughout the area. Call is 1:4 for the incoming physician.
Parkland Medical Center (PMC) is an 86-bed, acute care facility serving an expanding service area of 170,000. The hospital has exceptional primary care physicians who are very well trained and can provide an excellent referral base. This year, Parkland Medical Center will have approximately 73,000 outpatient visits, 23,500 ED visits, 4,000 admissions and an estimated occupancy rate of 42. PMC is a comprehensive facility including an 8-bed ICU, four ORs and maintains a formal affiliation with Lahey Health for Oncology, Urology, Breast Surgery and sub-specialty GI. The hospital offers a state-of-the art sleep diagnostic center as well as a pain management center and a birthing center. Additional services include a diagnostic cath lab with a 24/7 PCI program, a non-invasive vascular lab, fixed MRI, mobile MRI and PET scanning.
