Northern Minnesota & Wisconsin - General Surgery
General Surgeon, Northern Minnesota:
PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
· Seeking a BC/BC General Surgeon to join an existing, full spectrum of general surgery in anticipation of a retirement. This 22-person provider group has provided an ongoing referral base drawing from a growing service population of 40,000 plus. Compensation with incentive based on experience.
·Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 2
•General Surgery practice consists of block schedules for clinic, surgery, and endoscopy.
•Weekly schedule: 2-3, ½ day clinic blocks- ½ day each, 2 endoscopy blocks, and 2, ½ day surgery blocks.
·The general surgery call schedule is coordinated with the local Level 3 trauma call schedule inclusive of 2 surgeons. General surgery/Trauma call will include 1:2 weeknights and 1:4 weekends.
•Annual volumes for the 2-surgeon practice include 350 operating room cases, 1200 endoscopy procedures, and 900 office visits.
•Total department production is 13,000 RVU’s per year.
General Surgeon, Northern Minnesota:
Call 1:3 broad-based practice
•BC/BE in general surgery
•21-physician multispecialty group including internal medicine, MDA, ENT, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Occupational Medicine and nine allied health providers plus numerous visiting specialists
•Established practice with two experienced general surgeons
•Call 1:3
•Broad-based general surgery practice includes endoscopy and colonoscopy (no C-sections)
•Surgical services and admissions at the Medical Center, 83-bed hospital and 116-bed convalescent facility
General Surgeon, Northern Wisconsin:
Growing Surgery practice
•Clinic: 5 FP, 1 IM, 1 GS, 1 PA, 3 NP
•Admit to adjacent Hospital: 42 beds, new Med. Surg. Unit
•In/Out patient practice
•Hospital has 24 hour ER coverage
Requirements:
•BC/BE General Surgery
•OB Required
