Job Description
Medical Center seeking Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to start October 16, 2023 - Ongoing
Shift Details: Interested in all options; most likely would be interested in an option to include clinic/OR during the week with associated call
Schedule: Monday-Friday; may look for 1:3 weekend call if associated with clinic practice during the week. Not likely to pursue weekend only call coverage.
Work Details:
• Support Staff: 2 APPs; 1 Orthopedic Assistant; 3 Athletic Trainers; 3 LPNs
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Up to Full-time
• Patients per day: 25-35
• Patient Population/Age: Varies
• Department Description: Very active, collaborative department with generalist practice including trauma, total joint replacement, arthroscopic; sports med. Very integrated medical center with 20 specialties and built-in primary care referral pipeline.
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed size: 25 inpatient
• Special Procedures: No robot.
• Skills Required: Generalist ortho surgery

• MN license or IMLC
• Board Certification
