Seeking BE/BC Thoracic Surgeon to join talented team in northern NY. Employed Non-cardiac position, with focus predominantly on thoracic surgery New system is a robotic bronchoscopy system which combines navigational technology with a new robotic bronchoscope platform that allows for continues live camera during deployment of various tools which has previously not been possible, along with robotic micro movement control Work within the same office with an un-opposed well-established group of five Board Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care Physicians Medical Staff greater than 190 physicians; offering solid referral base Catchment population: 250,000 New Xi da Vinci Robotics Surgical System Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery System Large network of providers offers a strong referral base Very appreciative patient population making for a rewarding career Well-established lung cancer screening program Hospital based newly constructed comprehensive cancer center, Fall 2018 Teaching opportunities with accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine andamp; Internal Medicine Compensation andamp; Benefits: $665,000 Annual Base Salary, plus WRVU Incentive Program and#8211; 4-year Contract $50,000 Signing Bonus $20,000 Annual Education Loan Repayment $15,000 Relocation Reimbursement $3,000 Annual Continuing Education Stipend plus 5 Paid Days Off Twenty-nine (29) days paid time off Health insurance, individual or family, 80% paid Occurrence medical liability insurance; $1.3 Million each/$3.9 million aggregate 401k and 403b financial planning option; Employer pension plan contribution NYS medical license and DEA registration paid Area: Experience the natural beauty of Northern New York and the Thousand Islands Region.
