Job Description
Seeking Locum BC Transplant Surgery Physician to start ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: Scheduled hours and call
Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm
Support staff: General Surgery and Urology Residents, Nephrology
Amount of coverage needed per month: 7 days.
Patients per day: We transplanted 128 patients last year, weekly OR volume varies
Transplant candidate evaluations: 5-6 weekly. Inpatient multi-disciplinary rounds.
Patient population/age: 18-75
Department description: Kidney Transplant- pre-transplant and post-transplant clinic evaluations and follow up visits.
EMR: Cerner / DRAGON dictation software
Skills preferred: Transplant biopsy.
Requirements: WV State license, ASTS Transplant
