| Job De | Traumatic Surgery - This Regional Medical Center located 30 miles from Downtow Orlando is seeking a board certified|board eligible trauma surgeon for their Level II trauma center Qualified Candidates: • Board certified by the ABS with trauma|surgical critical care fellowship • 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p | 7p-7a • Incoming surgeon will be the 6th trauma surgeon to round out the group • Robust step-down unit • ATLS required Incentive|Benefits Package: • Employment model with full health benefits and 401K with employer match • Paid malpractice and CME allowance About Trauma Services: • 221-bed acute care hospital • State verified Level II trauma center • 12-hour primary in-house coverage plus 12-hour secondary call from home with 30-min response (rarely called in) • Emergency general surgery & trauma call • 24|7 on-call neurosurgeons • 24|7 on-site anesthesia, surgical services team & trauma-trained nurses About the Hospital: • The Hospital is a 221-bed, Level 2 trauma center • Established in 1982, we are the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia • Other specialized services including orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, and complete imaging services. Sanford, FL is a rapidly growing waterfront community with a hometown atmosphere. Located just about 30 miles from Orlando International Airport and approximately 25 miles from downtown Orlando, convenience is at your fingertips.
