Your day.

As a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), you’ll work collaboratively with our surgical specialties to provide top-notch care and patient experience. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with your peers and support staff throughout the day. 

  • You would be based at our Regional Neuroscience Center and practice on the St. Vincent campus
  • You would support St. Vincent's trauma service by rounding on patients, admitting and discharging patients, and performing other responsibilities
  • You will work closely with our Neurosurgery, General Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery teams
  • 12-hour shifts, day or night shift schedules vary
  • You will work alongside supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff  
  • You'll have excellent mentorship and support from your supervising/collaborative physician

 

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.    
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).

It’s also a big plus if you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
