Urgent Care Physician Folsom (Ridley), PA

We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Urgent Care Physician to join our urgent care center group in Folsom (Ridley), PA. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The physician will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center.

We are a walk-in Urgent care clinic, and we are here to help serve our patients for any health-related issue. We help our patients see a provider quickly so they can save time and feel better. We provide services such as, physical exams, pediatric care, onsite labs, digital x-rays and diagnostic imaging, immunizations, occupational health, and treatment of acute/unexpected injuries and illnesses. We offer affordable care with minimal wait times, advanced technology diagnostics, licensed professionals, and supportive staff in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Duties:

  • Performs and documents history and physicals of walk-in patients
  • Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
  • Performs in-office procedures
  • Orders and interprets X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications, DME, treatment plans
  • Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
  • Responds to all patient questions
  • Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned
  • Collaborate/Supervise other medical providers (NP’s/PA’s)

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
  • Must be comfortable/able to see patients 2 weeks and up
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Active PA Medical License
  • Active DEA Registration
  • DOT Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid ACLS & PALS certifications
  • Child Abuse clearances and criminal background checks required

Schedule:

  • 12-hour weekday shifts (8am - 8pm) and 9-hour shifts on weekends (8am-5pm)
  • Full time, Part time, or per diem opportunities
  • Full-time is 14 shifts per month with a split of 11 weekday and 3 weekend days
  • We will offer split shifts but only for part-time and per diem with a minimum of 6 hours
