Premier multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a surgeon to their busy Urology department. Group is seeking a BE/BC Experienced Urologist to provide excellent patient care and practice full-scope General Urology. Strong preference for additional training /experience with robotic surgery and Oncology. Urologists maintain a comfortable weekend call schedule, have access to hospitalists 24/7, and enjoy a strong built-in referral system. Robotics are easily accessible. General Urology. Ability/interest to do robotic surgery is desirable. Fellowship in Oncology is good. they will still do mostly general urology.
Clinic – Will have MA to room patients/take vitals/etc. Urodynamics done in the clinic (monitored by APP or
RN).
- There are a total right now of 3 physicians and 1 NP in the group.
- Call – call responsibilities are for only division’s existing patients, split equitably between urologists in division (I cannot imagine a less onerous call requirement than this as a practicing Urologist). Option for separately paid ER hospital call for pay though none of our urologists opt to participate in that.
- Full Time – M-F, 8-5. 36 hrs. patient contact time
- sees around 20-25 patients in clinic
- Shareholder track. Minimum of 12 months to become eligible. Non-shareholder contract is for two years
- years with ability to become shareholder between 12-24 months. $5k buy-in. Must be board certified,
- practicing good medicine, good team member, sustainable RVU productivity.
- $430-$450 base pay plus RVU productivity. Depending on experience, base pay could be high $400's.
- Sign bonus and relocation assistance.
- Prefer robot experience
