Tele Health Collaborative Psychiatrist Services Locums Job in the Greater Los Angeles, California Area
Details/Requirements:
*Need is for a psychiatrist to provide collaborative services for a locum tenens BC-PMHNP who will be providing adult outpatient coverage for the client. Duties of the collaborative doctor include signing off on charts and providing consultative services to the PMHNP. The collaborative psychiatrist typically reviews 3-5 chart notes per week and usually does this as they talk to the PMHNP and answer any questions the PMHNP may have.
*Total of 1-2 hours per week for the first month which includes receiving training on the client's E.H.R. and training on the client's systems and processes, and thereafter the need will be for approximately 5-6 hours a MONTH total.
*100% remote tele health services using Doxy.me, telephone, and via eClinicalWorks.
*Schedule can be worked out between the locum tenens psychiatrist and the PMHNP.
*Hours of the worksite location are 8A-5P, M, T, W, F and Thursday 8A to 9P.
*No call.
*Board Certification is required.
*Electronic health record, so you must be computer savvy.
*Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, including a TB Test and other requirements.
*Client prefers 3-6 month minimum assignments.
*Outpatient: 98% or more of the patient population are adults, predominantly skid row, and =2% or less children and adolescents, mostly teenagers, children/minors less than 12 years old are very rare if ever. The locum tenens PMHNP will only be seeing adults.
*75% of the patients have co-occurring disorders with substance/alcohol use as well as mental health disorders.
