Job Description
Our facility is a 24/7 inpatient Behavioral Health Hospital. We are seeking a Chief Operation Officer who has Behavioral Health operations experience to lead this facility, enhance our performance and patient care, and expand the current bed capacity by as much as 40 beds over the next year.
The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures for the organization. Key functions
include analyzing key data to understand the organization's progress to key goals and objectives and make recommendations as needed to improve performance.
Essential Functions of the role:
Collaborates with the CEO, CFO, CMO, CPO as an integral part of the executive team.
Provides leadership in all areas relating to daily operations
Sets and drives the vision, operation, and strategic needs of the organization
Develops and executes operational plans to ensure achievement of assigned strategic
priorities and projects
Develops and establishes operating policies
Appraises and evaluates the results of the overall operations regularly and
systematically
Prepares and analyzes operational and financial reports for the CEO and other members
of the Executive Team
Education and experience requirements:
Exceptional record of leadership
Superior project management skills
Understanding of analytics and performance metrics
Resourceful and analytical with exceptional communication skills
Excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or closely related field, masters
preferred
Minimum of ten years' administration experience in a healthcare facility
Minimum of five years of experience in a for-profit inpatient psychiatric facility
