The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center is a physician-led aesthetic medicine practice focused on aesthetic and cosmetic treatments. We specialize in injectables, laser technologies, skin resurfacing, and advanced facial rejuvenation procedures designed to deliver natural, confidence-boosting results.

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing cosmetic medical aesthetics team. This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys procedural medicine, patient-focused consultations, and delivering aesthetic outcomes aligned with each patient’s goals.

Physicians from family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or other clinical backgrounds who have a passion for aesthetics are well-suited for this role. Prior experience in aesthetics is ideal—comprehensive training is provided for motivated physicians interested in building a long-term career in aesthetic medicine.

Key Responsibilities

Aesthetic Clinical Care:

  • Perform cosmetic consultations and aesthetic evaluations
  • Design individualized aesthetic treatment plans
  • Perform and oversee cosmetic procedures including (training provided as needed):
  • Neuromodulator injections (Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, Daxxify®)
  • Dermal fillers and biostimulatory injectables
  • Laser and light-based skin rejuvenation treatments
  • Microneedling and resurfacing procedures
  • Chemical peels and medical-grade skincare treatments
  • Educate patients on treatment options, outcomes, risks, and post-procedure care
  • Document all treatments and consultations accurately in the EMR
  • Monitor results and manage follow-up care

Practice & Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Medical Director, aesthetic nurses, laser specialists, and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in internal training, device education, and clinical skill development
  • Stay current with aesthetic trends, techniques, and technologies

Qualifications

Required:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
  • Strong interest in cosmetic aesthetics and procedural medicine
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, procedure-focused environment

Preferred:

  • Background in aesthetics, primary care, internal medicine, or urgent care
  • Experience with cosmetic injectables, lasers, or energy-based devices
  • Strong aesthetic eye and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Modernizing Medicine (EMA)
  • Interest in long-term growth within aesthetic medicine

Work Environment:

  • Outpatient cosmetic dermatology practice
  • High-volume aesthetic procedures performed daily
  • Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
