Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and timely anesthesia care for patients undergoing outpatient procedures.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations, formulate individualized anesthesia plans, and ensure appropriate patient preparation.
• Provide intraoperative anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), based on the needs of each specialty.
• Conduct post-anesthesia assessments and manage recovery-phase concerns in coordination with PACU nursing staff.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to promote efficient case flow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and ongoing clinical workflow optimization.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care within the surgery center.

Schedule & Work Environment
• Monday–Friday schedule with consistent daytime hours

Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• New York State medical license (active or eligible)
• Prior ambulatory/outpatient anesthesia experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and dedication to patient-centered care
