Cardiac Anesthesiologist opportunity in Belleville, IL

Great opportunity for a talented cardiac anesthesiologist to join our thriving, collaborative practice as the provider of anesthesia services at an award-winning medical center in Belleville, IL.

Position Highlights:

• 26 Week position/annually, primarily cardiac with cardiac call only
• 26 weeks: Monday through Sunday days with beeper call evenings/weekends (30-minute response time)
• 26 weeks: Completely off
• Can be configured as one week on/one week off or two on/two off
• Sign on available
• Single-hospital coverage; no commuting between sites
• Supervise 2-3 rooms with experienced cardiac CRNAs
• One cardiac room and 1 general room (sometimes 2)
• Case mix: Cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and EP (TAVR/Watchman)
• No transplants, trauma, OB, pediatrics
• Annual volume: ~200 open hearts
• TEE: Anesthesiologists perform TEEs for open-heart cases
• Support: Dedicated anesthesia techs and strong collaboration with a highly skilled cardiac surgeon and cardiologists
