The anesthesia department operates with a medical direction staffing model maintaining a 1:3 MD to CRNA supervision ratio. This multi-specialty facility provides round-the-clock cardiac and trauma coverage with dedicated in-house call requirements.

The adult cardiac anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive perioperative care for adult cardiac surgical patients during day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinician will maintain cardiovascular beeper call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and trauma in-house call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM, requiring availability on weekdays and weekends as needed. Board certification is required for this position. The role involves supervising CRNAs in a medical direction model with a 1:3 ratio across 12 operating rooms and 9 NORA sites.
