Job Description
Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a thriving physician-led health system in Southwest Georgia in recruiting a full-time Anesthesiologist/Critical Care Physician to join a collaborative team at a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital. This unique position offers a 26-weeks-on/26-weeks-off schedule, critical care engagement, and the chance to work in a technologically advanced, supportive medical environment.
Opportunity Highlights
- Join a strong team of Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs
- 26 weeks on / 26 weeks off schedule (typically 7 on / 7 off)
- 2 anesthesiologists scheduled per shift; opportunity to supervise CRNAs and AAs
- Bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases (nerve blocks, epidurals, A-lines, etc.)
- No cardiac or neurosurgery cases
- 7 OR suites, 2 endoscopy suites
- OB services (~750 deliveries/year); ~700 total cases/month (~200 endoscopies)
- Critical Care Call: Required during scheduled week; includes ICU consults and backup for anesthesia
- ICU: 10-bed open unit; consult-only model; collaborate with Pulmonology and Critical Care physician on daily rounds
- Hospital features: 24/7 physician lounge with meals, all-access employee fitness center, and Medical Education Center with simulation and conference space
- Advanced technology: 4 Da Vinci 5 Surgical Robots, Mako Robot, Glidescope, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and new Mindray anesthesia machines with ultrasound

Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (certification required within 5 years if eligible)
- Completion of a Critical Care Fellowship
- GA medical license or eligibility via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
