Job Description:

As an anesthesiologist at this hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. We are seeking individuals with expertise in pediatric, obstetric/gynecologic, and cardiac anesthesia to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures in pediatric, obstetric/gynecologic, and cardiac specialties.

Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary to ensure optimal safety and comfort.

Collaborate closely with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.

Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care, including pain management, for patients undergoing anesthesia.

Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

  •   Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  •   Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  •   Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Cardiac Anesthesia   
  •   Valid medical license and DEA registration in the state of West Virginia (or eligible for licensure).
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  •   Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
