This community hospital provides comprehensive anesthesia services with established protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility operates under a supervision model with modern anesthesia capabilities for diverse surgical specialties excluding cardiac and trauma procedures.

Northeastern Georgia offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including nature trails and wildlife viewing at various parks, water activities such as jet ski adventures and paddle board rentals at regional lakes, and hiking and biking options throughout the state. Visitors can explore historic sites through walking tours and visit distinctive attractions including museums and riverwalks throughout the region.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during weekday shifts from 6:30 or 7a to 3 or 3:30p with guaranteed 38 hours per week. The clinician will manage diverse surgical cases including bread and butter procedures, OB epidurals, orthopedic, neurological, ophthalmology cataracts, interventional radiology, and endoscopy with no cardiac or trauma cases. The position requires 2-3 overnight in-house calls per month from 11am to 7am with early dismissal the day before and post-call day off. The role operates under a supervision model with 1:4 ratio and requires board certification.
