Multiple Anesthesiologists Needed in Iowa | Ongoing Locums Job

Coverage Needed: July Start for Full Time Coverage Ongoing

Shift Description:  
--Monday- Friday (6:30-16:30) 
--Weekend coverage is needed but it’s not a set schedule (weekends are call only) 
--Night call (7 days per week, every 3-4 days) 

Requirements:   
--Board Certified   
--Active Iowa license or IMLC 
--ACLS  
--Must be available for 2 weeks per month 
--COVID Vaccine  
--Clean malpractice 

Assignment Details:  
--Need the equivalent of 6 full-time locum physicians  
--Job responsibilities: evaluate/monitor patient care before and during surgery 
--OB: Yes 
--Peds: Yes, but mostly tonsils and adenoids  
--Supervision:  Some 
--Group has 6 physicians and 2 CRNA 
--Number of exam rooms per provider: 13 OR rooms 
--Clinic provider daily volume: 30-50 cases for whole department per day 
--EMR: EPIC 
--Procedures offered in the practice: general anesthesia with OB (includes TOLAC) and healthy peds; no heart or neurosurgery; conscious sedation is required
