Physician South Portland ME
Part time (~10hrs per week)
$1,000 -$1,400 per day
We are looking for a physician to join our medical group, to provide direct patient care at our office in South Portland, ME. The physician’s duties will be to conduct orthopedic focused exams and performing joint injections and bone marrow procedures in an out-patient setting for our clinic (training provided if needed). Great work/life balance with no call, nights, or holidays. The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain. This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing for part-time work (1–3 days/week).

The NP/PA’s examine patients and perform joint and trigger point injections in our physical medicine office. We provide concierge medicine; the patients are seeking high quality care not covered by insurance and we strive to make them comfortable and educated about the procedures so that they are satisfied in undergoing the treatments offered.
Duties:
- Conduct physical exams and assessments for patients with musculoskeletal issues
- Review imaging (X-rays, MRIs), patient history, and diagnose and develop treatment plans to treat tendinopathies and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform bone marrow aspiration procedures and ultrasound guided injections (we can provide training if needed)
- Support advanced practice providers, as needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, as needed, regarding treatment options and care plans
Requirements:
- BCBE in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Physiatry, ER, Anesthesiology or PM&R preferred
- Prior experience/background in joint injections required
- MD or DO License to Practice Medicine in ME
Schedule:
- Part time (1-3 days per week)

- $1,000 -$1,400 per day + Bonus compensation
