A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located on the eastern coast of Maine.

This is a full-time position starting ASAP (end of September or early October) for an initial 6-month assignment with the possibility to extend. The schedule is MondayFriday, 7:00AM4:00PM, with rotating weekday call from 4:00PM7:00AM and 24-hour weekend call. The provider will work in EPIC, handle about 1416 surgical cases per day (including endoscopy), and will not supervise CRNAs, as physicians do their own cases. Required procedures include adult general surgery, minor nerve blocks, plexus, epidural, spinal, regional anesthesia, and obstetrical cases.
