A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located west of Boston, Massachusetts.
This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s, and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Case types include general, endoscopy, orthopedics, vascular, GI, and urology, with no head or heart procedures. OB experience is preferred but not required; candidates covering OB must be comfortable with high-risk cases and available for call if needed. The role follows an Anesthesia Care Team model, with MDs primarily supervising but occasionally managing their own cases, comprising 20-40% of their workload.
