The facility operates as an ambulatory care setting providing outpatient anesthesia services within an organized clinical environment. The facility maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery across its outpatient surgical program. Locum anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

New Jersey offers a range of activities suited to diverse interests, including ecotour cruises for whale, dolphin, and bird watching, as well as helicopter tours of the New York City skyline. Clinicians on assignment may explore attractions such as Sterling Hill Mine's fluorescent rocks, arboretums, gardens, aquariums, and arcades throughout the state. The area also features amusement parks, breweries, and various outdoor and indoor entertainment options across the region.

The anesthesiologist will assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department, with responsibility for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical and medical procedures. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining and verifying patient consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients. The clinician will manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia while monitoring patients' physiological conditions throughout each procedure. This is a day shift position with no call required, operating within a 100% hands-on practice model at an outpatient setting.
