A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Poughkeepsie, NY.
This position involves general and orthopedic cases and accepts candidates who still need to obtain a state license. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts with no in-house call, weekend, or weeknight pager requirements, and while overtime isnt expected, it is available. The hospital uses Cerner for charting, has 31 anesthesia rooms, and MDs both supervise CRNAs at a 3:1 ratio and perform their own cases. The site offers a $275 weekly car rental or mileage stipend and a $113 daily lodging stipend.
