A community hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Plattsburgh, NY.

The facility is seeking an anesthesiologist with strong OB skills, a clean credentialing file, and the flexibility to cover both scheduled OR cases and call. The case mix includes OB/GYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastics, Vascular, Colorectal, ENT, GI, and Urology, with occasional CRNA supervision. The EMR system is Epic for both the hospital and OR. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a Level III trauma center with nine modern ORs and a department of approximately 15 anesthesiologists supported by 2 CRNAs, anesthesia techs, PAs, nurses, OR techs, managers, and directors. The provider must participate in the OB call rotation and be within 15 minutes of the facility while on call, and should be comfortable performing regional blocks for OR cases.
