This VA Hospital provides comprehensive anesthesia and pain management services with established protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility operates with a supervision model where typically one attending covers daily operations, sometimes expanding to two attendings with one covering endoscopy procedures. The hospital maintains modern capabilities with no resident physicians and employs three CRNAs to support clinical operations.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services and pain management coverage during day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM for OR cases and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for pain management. The clinician will supervise up to 3 CRNAs while managing general, vascular, thoracic, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, gynecology, orthopedic, GI MAC, and VIR cases. CPRS EMR will be utilized for documentation. The ideal candidate should support both comprehensive pain management and anesthesia, though anesthesia-only candidates will be considered.
