This busy hospital operates 8 operating rooms and provides comprehensive surgical services supported by a collaborative anesthesia team of 9 MDs and 4 CRNAs. The facility maintains a medical direction model designed to support quality patient care delivery across a diverse surgical caseload. Epic EMR is utilized throughout the facility to support organized clinical documentation and perioperative workflows.

This locum tenens anesthesiologist position covers day shifts Monday through Friday at an operating room facility in Elmira, NY, with scheduling options of five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts per week. The anesthesiologist will function under a medical direction model, providing oversight and direction to a team of CRNAs at 50% hands-on involvement. The clinician will deliver perioperative anesthesia care across bread and butter surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedic, and neurological procedures, with OB coverage required. The facility utilizes Epic EMR to support clinical documentation and perioperative workflows, and board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
