A Busy Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Hermitage, TN.

The assignment has a 45day credentialing timeframe with an ASAP start once privileges are approved, and the contract runs for six months with an option to extend. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on first or secondcall responsibilities, and both weekends and call are required. The practice operates under medical direction with a case mix of roughly 30% orthopedics, 17% general surgery, 14% urology, and additional cases typical of a Primary Stroke Center. Physicians perform blocks and spinals, and the site uses Meditech Expanse. Call is covered by four physicians: one MD works a full week of night float (5 p.m.6:30 a.m.), two alternate between second call and postsecondcall days, and the fourth MD is off; the locums provider rotates within this fourphysician schedule.
