Anesthesiology Locums Job | Varied Shifts | Beginning ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #115575

Coverage Details
-- Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days (Emergency privileges available in under 30 days)
-- Duration: 12 weeks

Shift Description
-- Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-- Prefers 16 + 24 hour shifts
-- In-house call preferred

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Completion of accredited anesthesia residency
-- Will accept candidates needing to obtain state license

Duties
-- Direct and coordinate anesthesia services
-- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments
-- Obtain and verify patient consent
-- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
-- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
-- Monitor patient physiological status throughout procedures
-- Perform clinical interventions as needed

Assignment Details
-- Case types: General, Orthopedic
-- Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Depart
-- Overtime: Not expected but available
-- 22 anesthesia rooms
-- MD supervision of CRNAs
-- MD to CRNA ratio: 1:4
-- Charting system: iPro
