Cardiology, Electrophysiology Locums Job in Iowa | Assignment #109451

Shift Description:
--Shifts per month: 20
--Clinic/Patient Contact Hours: 8am to 5pm
--Clinic Days: Monday through Friday
--Shift length: 8 hours
--Procedure/OR Days: 2 to 3 per week
--On Call: shared call with 3 interventionalist

Details/Requirements:
--Board Certified - required (can accept Board Eligible/New graduates)
--Active Iowa License or Active IMLC (please upload LOQ) - required 
--Fellowship Trained (Electrophysiology) - required 
--Clean Malpractice - required 
--Must be available Full time (2 or more weeks per month) - required 
--Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes
--Telehealth: Yes
--Number of Physicians: 3
--Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 5
--Supervision of APP expected: Yes
--Physician Nurse Ratio: 1:1
--Ancillary Staff per Provider: 2:1
--Exam Rooms per Provider: 5
--Medical Imaging: Yes
--Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
--Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 20-25
--Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-20 cardiology patients
--Appointment Length: 15 to 30 minutes appts
--EMR: Cerner Powerchart
--Teaching Opportunity: Internships and Preceptors
--Clinic visits (new/established) Electrophysiology procedures, device monitoring (loopp, pacemakers, ICD) general call
--In Clinic device transmissions and reprogramming
--We have an EP PA who will assist with patient volumes.  Post procedure and established patients 
--Estimated credentialing timeline: 60 days

--Ablations (afib, aflutter, svt, pvc, vt)
--Pacemaker/ICD/temp pacer/loop recorder insertions
