Palmer, Alaska serves as a base for a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, dogsledding, and horseback riding, with access to state parks and notable destinations such as Matanuska Glacier and Hatcher Pass. The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with scheduled clinical coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinician will perform 7-10 interventional procedures daily and maintain 24-hour call responsibilities as part of an established call rotation. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required. The position is on-site and requires demonstrated expertise in interventional cardiology techniques.
