The hospital is actively seeking an interventional cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiac care coverage. The facility maintains modern cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment and utilizes both Cerner and Athena EMR systems for patient documentation and care coordination. The credentialing timeline is 14 days for assignment completion.

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care managing both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with 24-hour call coverage. Key responsibilities include responding to average 10 phone consults per 24-hour period and managing 1 admission per shift while maintaining care for 10 patients per shift. The clinician must perform interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterization and emergency interventions as clinically indicated. Documentation must be completed using Cerner and Athena EMR systems with board certification in Interventional Cardiology required for this position.
