About Our Organization
Regional Medical Center, the newest addition to the Health Care system, is a level 2 trauma center, STEMI receiving center and Thrombectomy capable Stroke Center. In addition to the busy inpatient services there is an outpatient clinic located on the campus to facilitate an efficient elective outpatient practice.
Providers in our health system also have the opportunity to use our integrated electronic health record (Epic), which brings together systemwide patient information. The Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) recognized SCVMC for achieving its highest level of success (Stage 7), based on our continuous innovation and optimization of our inpatient and outpatient EHR.

About the Department
The Department of Medicine is a large, dynamic department which includes Cardiology, Gastrenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Hospitalists services.
About the Position
We are seeking a board certified/board eligible fellowship trained Interventional Cardiologist for our busy STEMI receiving center and acute care hospital at Regional Medical Center. The position will include both Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology inpatient consultation as well as outpatient clinic and elective/scheduled interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and our advanced practice providers. The candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid California medical license.
