This large hospital seeks an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage to support comprehensive cardiac services. The facility maintains modern cardiac catheterization laboratories and advanced procedural capabilities for complex interventional cardiology cases. The hospital provides specialized cardiac care with dedicated nursing staff and established protocols for emergency interventions. The medical center offers both inpatient and outpatient cardiac services with experienced clinical teams supporting quality patient outcomes.

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care including clinic, inpatient care, and 24-hour call coverage. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and reading echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and event monitors. The clinician will conduct transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions as clinically indicated. The position requires call coverage from 8am to 8am with weekend call from 8am Friday to 8am Monday in rotation with 2 other providers. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for this assignment.
