A hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in central Kentucky.

This Level I Trauma center using Epic seeks an Interventional Cardiologist (MD/DO) for 24-hour call coverage. Providers should be BC (preferred) or BE, with BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications, and skilled in procedures such as PCI, stent placement, and coronary thrombectomy. The role involves onsite rounds, patient follow-ups, acute STEMI admissions, and arrival within 30 minutes for call-backs. Support includes a General Cardiologist, 24/7 intensivists, and anesthesia coverage.
