The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care including 24-hour call coverage for emergency cardiac interventions and general cardiology consultations. Key responsibilities include performing required procedures such as balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention, heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms. The clinician will respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital and conduct general cardiology consults as needed. Additional duties encompass reading and interpreting studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests including nuclear stress testing to ensure comprehensive cardiac care delivery for adult patients.
