A hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Hattiesburg, MS.
The schedule includes 8 hours onsite covering clinic duties along with second or backup call. The average case load is 25 patients per day, with approximately 2 phone consults and 3 admissions per 24 hours. The facility uses Cerner for hospital charting and Athena for clinic documentation. Temporary privileges can be obtained within 3 days. There is support from 3 NPs or PAs.
