HOSPITAL

Hospital-based practice with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories.

Collaborative and supportive team of cardiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.

ROLE

Monday thru Friday

Shared Call

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) & other catheter-based procedures.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses & other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Evaluate patients with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, and other cardiovascular conditions, providing appropriate interventional treatments.

Interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests & echocardiograms, to formulate treatment plans.

Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency interventional cardiology services, including management of ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI).

Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural patient care and consultation.

Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options & post-procedure recovery.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology.
