Interventional Cardiologist Locums Job in Utah | December 24 – January 3 | Assignment 109884
Shift Description:
--Coverage needed is 24 hour STEMI call coverage.
--Shifts are 7a-7a
--December 24 (7a) - January 3 (7a)
Details/Requirements:
--Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - Required for Credentialing
--Active UT license - Highly Preferred
--Active BLS - Required for Credentialing
--Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
--Must state # of shifts per month ongoing provider can offer to the team - Required
--Must be available for dates listed above
--Clean Malpractice/background - those who present with a self inquiry NPDB report at time of name clear will be placed with a higher priority over those that do not present with it.
--Required Procedures/Job Duties: Left and right heart caths, coronary angioplasty/stents, balloon pump/impella, transesophael Echo, pacemakers.
--Timeframe: 90 days with active UT license, 120 days without UT license
--24 hour STEMI call coverage 7a-7a
--Setting: Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room
--Level 4 Trauma
--Call: STEMI & General Cardiology
--EMR: EPIC
--Support Staff: Echo Tech, Lab Tech, RN, X-ray Tech, Nuclear Tech
--Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage needs
--EMR Required Training: Module (learn lessons) – must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training. EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Provider will be required to complete Modules, EUPA test and PPL at least one week prior to their start date.
--Patient census for general vs interventional: On average around 20 caths per month and 5-8 would qualify as interventional.
--STEMIS performed per year: Average of 5 STEMI's per month / Average of 60 STEMI's per year
