Job Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist

Location: Alabama

Department: Cardiology

Reports To: Department Head / Medical Director

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist to join our cardiology team. The EP Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex arrhythmias, performing electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and implanting cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac electrophysiology, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for advancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive electrophysiology assessments and interpret diagnostic data.

- Perform invasive procedures including EP studies, catheter ablations, and device implantations.

- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with arrhythmias and other electrophysiological disorders.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

- Stay current with advances in electrophysiology and incorporate best practices into clinical practice.

- Educate patients and their families about electrophysiological conditions and treatment options.

- Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in medical records.

- Participate in research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

- Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and junior staff.

Qualifications:

- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.

- Valid medical license to practice in [Insert Location].

- Proven experience in cardiac electrophysiology procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
