Cardiology/CDS Locums Job in California | 24-Hour Call | Specific Dates From November Through December | Assignment #111253

Coverage Needed:
-- November 24-30 ( ending the 1st in the morning)
-- December TBD

Shift Description:
-- 24-hour call
-- 6am – 6am

Requirements:
-- Board certified or board eligible within 5 years
-- Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in California
-- DEA certification
-- Ability to perform TEE preferred
-- Transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation preferred

Assignment Details:
-- Emergency Department staffed with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians 
-- Cardiologist is only called for significant cardiology situations
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Consult patient in ED and inpatients
-- Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists
-- Supervise stress tests (pharmacological/exercise)
-- Interpret OP and INPT Echocardiology
-- Holter monitoring, event monitors
-- Admissions per day: 3-4 
-- Supervised stress tests per day: 4-8 
-- Echo’s per day: 5-12
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days, can be expedited
