Cardiology Locums Job in California | 24-Hour Call | 12/27 - 1/28 | Assignment #112358

Coverage Details
-- December 27 – January 1
-- January 5 – January 8
-- January 26 – January 28
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days (expedited available)

Shift Description
-- 24-hour call (6 AM – 6 AM)
-- Average callback hours: 8.8

Requirements
-- Board Certified Internal Medicine or Cardiology OR BE within 5 years
-- CA license
-- DEA – Required during credentialing
-- Clean malpractice background – Highly Preferred
-- Residency/Fellowship: Current certification in Internal Medicine and active participation toward cardiovascular medicine qualifications OR completion of accredited fellowship in cardiovascular medicine

Duties
-- Consult patients in ED and inpatient units
-- Supervise Stress Tests (Pharmacological / Exercise)
-- Interpret OP and INPT Echocardiology, Holter, Event Monitors
-- Optional/Ideal: TEE; Transvenous pacing; Tilt table interpretation

Additional Details
-- Admissions per day: Avg. 3–4 consults
-- Supervised stress tests: 4–8
-- Echo’s: 5–12
-- Types of cases: Typical non-interventional community hospital cardiology cases
-- Support staff: Cardiology Manager, Echocardiographers, Cardiology Technicians
-- EMR: Cerner
