We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Clinical Cardiologist to join our well-established medical office. The ideal candidate will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and work closely with patients to manage their heart health through both in-office consultations and diagnostic evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, physical exams, and medical histories.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and ambulatory monitors.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to design and oversee individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide longitudinal care and monitoring for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Educate patients and families on prevention strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Document encounters accurately and timely within the practice’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in clinical quality improvement efforts and maintain up-to-date medical knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in [State]
  • Current DEA certification
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in an outpatient medical office setting
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena)
  • Subspecialty training or interest in Heart Failure, Preventive Cardiology, or other areas is welcomed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $350,000.00 annually
  • Performance Bonus: Based on productivity and quality metrics
  • Partnership Opportunity: Available after 2 years of employment
  • Call Schedule: Light, shared call rotation — every 3rd or 4th week
