Cardiology Multi Specialty Group job located in Florida

(Login for Information), a community-focused medical group serving the Miami area, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist to provide outpatient consultative care one day per month at our Little Havana location. This is an excellent opportunity for a local physician looking to stay clinically active with a highly flexible, low-commitment schedule.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab results
• Provide patient counseling on medications, risk factors, and lifestyle interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation and EMR usage to support continuity of care
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient records.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the field of cardiology and improve patient care practices.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Cardiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology .
• Proficiency in EHR systems, and familiarity with EMR systems.
• Experience in outpatient cardiology practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient service and communication within a healthcare team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with multicultural, aging and underserved populations
