Practice Details

  • Seeking a BE/BC General Cardiologist to join team of 6 Non-Invasive, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 CT Surgeons, and 1 Vascular Surgeon and 1 EP.  
     
  • Hospital Employed position with built-in support providing physicians with autonomy.
  • Call 1:8 to 1:10 when fully staffed – shared call with interventional cardiologists 

  • 1 afternoon off per week. 

  • Experienced APP support in the clinic 
  • Full range of cardiac programs: Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CTA, Structural Heart and EP 
     
  • Imaging modalities include: 
    • Transthoracic
    • Echocardiogram
    • Transesophageal echocardiogram
    • Nuclear imaging
    • Cardiac CT
    • Cardiac MRI
    • Procedural intervention with structural procedures, such as watchmen, complicated TAVR, MitraClip
    • Nuclear
    • Transthoracic
    • Echocardiogram
    • Transesophageal
    • Echocardiogram most frequent in terms of volume 
       
  • Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care Center 
  • Board eligible or certified within 5 years of training 
     
  • This person will be based in our Albany campus and will do 1-2 days of regional outreach.  This is in line with what some of our current cardiologists do.  It also ties into our health system mission as a community hospital to serve those in SW Georgia.

Compensation Details

  • Base Salary:  $600,000
  • Sign on bonus: $50,000
  • Relocation (Reimb/IRS guidelines for direct relo exp up to) $15,000
  • CME $ $7,000
  • PTO/CME days 20
  • Holidays 7
